1. Scope of Services
Cosmoscientia provides cosmetic formulation consultancy, product development, and related advisory services. All deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in individual proposals or service agreements. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services that fall outside our practice, violate regulations, or conflict with existing engagements.
2. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement, Cosmoscientia retains ownership of all methodologies, research, and proprietary materials used during a project. Clients receive a license to use deliverables solely for the agreed project. Reuse or distribution requires written permission.
3. Confidentiality
We treat client data, product concepts, and proprietary information as confidential. Clients agree not to disclose Cosmoscientia’s templates, processes, or documentation without consent. Both parties will implement reasonable safeguards to protect shared information.
4. Payments & Cancellations
Payment terms are specified in each project proposal. Deposits are typically non-refundable and secure our time in advance. If you cancel or pause a project, you remain responsible for any work completed to date and any costs we have incurred.
5. Regulatory & Compliance Responsibility
Our consultants provide guidance based on current cosmetic science and industry best practices, but ultimate compliance with regulatory authorities remains the client’s responsibility. We encourage every client to validate and test finished products, labels, and claims in their target markets.
6. Liability
Cosmoscientia’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages such as lost sales, claims, or regulatory actions resulting from misuse or modification of our work.
7. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the site or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
